To access the mobile check deposit functionality, please visit your Control Panel in your mobile app. You will then select the option for βNew Depositβ. This will prompt you to take a photo of the front and back of the check you would like to deposit.
Before you submit the check for deposit, it is important that you sign and endorse the check in the indicated area, as well as write "For mobile deposit at Currence" on the back of the check. It is also important when taking the photo that you use a dark background.
Currently, it takes 3-5 business days for mobile checks to be deposited into your Currence Reservoir. It'll take 3-4 business days for the check to clear and possibly an additional business day if the check is deposited past the cutoff time of 7:00pm EST. Check deposits submitted after 7:00pm EST will be processed the following business day.
If your mobile check deposit is denied, double check that you have the correct endorsements and that the image of the check can be read. To get the best image, flatten the check and place on a dark surface in a well-lit area. Hold the camera directly over the check and make sure that all four corners are visible within the camera frame. It is also important that you have the most recent version of the app.
