Transactions initiated either within Currence or by an external institution can fail for a few common reasons:
Insufficient Funds - The most common reason is that there are not enough available funds in your Reservoir account to complete the transaction. Before retrying, verify that your available balance is sufficient to cover the full transaction amount.
Name Mismatch - The name associated with the transaction must exactly match an account holder listed on your Currence account. Transactions may fail if:
You have recently changed your legal name and your account information has not been updated.
The transaction is in the name of someone who is not an account holder. For example, direct deposits cannot be received for a spouse unless they have been added as a joint account holder.
If you've confirmed that you have sufficient funds and your account information is accurate, but the transaction is still failing, please contact Currence Support for further assistance.
